Pre-Raphaelite

So....... For the next shoot the theme is Pre-Raphaelite. I did two shoots for this period. I used the lovely red haired model Bryony Snowdon for both. The first we tried to capture the elements of greenery and water which is so often present in paintings of the time. I took inspiration from these paintings above and produced these images below.

For the next shoot I wanted the photos to be orientated around the clothes and the model and less emphasis on the scenery. I looked at more Pre-Rphaelite Art that focused more on the women. I also looked at iconic women of the time such as Jane Morris.

I took hair and make-up ideas from this, and decided to have the dress as slightly mythical, made from long pieces of fabric and curtain ties.
